Great Lakes Road Trip MKAL-- PRE ORDER --

This is the Pre Order for the official MKAL colors and yarn used in this year's Road Trip Mystery Knit a Long. Order by March 31 for delivery on or before April 29, 2023- Local Yarn Store Day.

We're heading north and covering a lot of territory as we explore the Great Lakes in this fourth installment of the Road Trip Mystery series. We'll visit eight states, five lakes, and one Canadian province as we continue our celebration of knitting, local yarn shops, history, and nature. So what's the mystery? Where we'll stop along the way, of course! And our inspiration for each leg.... And how that translates into knitting a beautiful shawl. We hope you'll join us on this grand knitting adventure and knit along.

They've designed another lovely shawl that drapes and wraps beautifully around the shoulders. This one is similar in shape to the Pennsylvania Road Trip in that it is something of a cross between a crescent and half-circle, but the construction and design is all new. This shawl is sure to become a go-to item in your wardrobe. 

The pattern is available for pre-order through Kid Ewe Knot or on Ravelry now, and the Packing List is immediately available upon purchase. Leg 1 will be released on April 29, 2023 in celebration Local Yarn Shop Day. Future legs of the journey will be released every two weeks through the end of August. On each of the nine legs, knitters will choose between two design options, one by Cynthia and the other by Valerie. Each option is a creative tribute to a landmark, historical event, or natural wonder that can be encountered in the Great Lakes region.
